Elements is my current personal music composition project. This project is inspired by instruments and sounds that I find to be interesting. This is not restricted just to instruments on their own, but also to how these instruments work as a collective. I am currently working on developing a solid style that draws ideas from each other, but will not stay static for too long. I find using the same material, instruments, form and structure for each composition to be very uninteresting for listeners and I like to experiment with how I can make sections of pieces very different but still very much related.
I am hoping that this project will set up a world of new ideas and interesting sounds that will keep me on my toes as a composer and will allow listeners to stay interested and not have to put up with the "same old sound."
